Andrea J. Williams, Esq., focuses her practice exclusively on immigration law. She specializes in family-based petitions, nonimmigrant visa applications, consular services, naturalization, and I-9 employer compliance. She has successfully represented clients in numerous fields including business, medicine, science, engineering, sports, theater, and the arts.
Ms. Williams is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association (AILA) and of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA). Prior to opening her own law practice, Ms. Williams worked with detained non-citizens and immigrant children who have suffered from abuse, neglect, or violence at the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network. In your first meeting with Ms. Williams, you will share your history and immigration goals. It is very important that you gather and bring your passport, any documents from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, Border Patrol, and any court cases. At this first meeting, Ms. Williams will give you an initial explanation of your options, including an estimate of the cost of representation and a timeline for resolution of your matter.
If you wish to move forward and the firm agrees to represent you, Ms. Williams will prepare a service agreement describing the work to be done and the anticipated fees. Once you have signed the agreement and paid the initial retainer, Ms. Williams will become your counsel. |
